Chamomile Tea Skin-fusion Ritual
Turn your skincare into ceremony with a gentle herbal infusion and the warmth of plant butters.
This ritual layers the soothing properties of chamomile tea with the deeply nourishing effects of our Vanilla Citrus + Bakuchiol Botanical Infused Butter. Chamomile is cherished in herbal traditions for calming both skin and spirit, while the botanical butter offers lasting moisture and barrier support.
What You'll Need:
- 1 chamomile tea bag or 1–2 tsp dried chamomile flowers
- 1/2 cup hot water
- A small jar or spray bottle
- Cotton round or clean hands
- Vanilla Citrus + Bakuchiol Butter
The Ritual:
1 - Infuse the Chamomile
Steep your chamomile in hot (not boiling) water for 5–10 minutes. Let it cool to room temperature. Strain if using loose flowers. Pour into a clean spray bottle or jar. Bonus - pour some into a cup to drink for yourself.
2 - Cleanse & Prepare
Wash your face and pat dry. Settle into your space. Invite stillness. You are about to tend to yourself with intention.
3 - Hydrate with Herbal Tea
Mist your face lightly with the cooled chamomile infusion, or gently pat it on using clean hands or a cotton round. Let it absorb. This brings calming, water-based hydration to the skin.
4 - Seal in with Botanical Butter
While skin is still slightly dewy, melt a small amount of Vanilla Citrus + Bakuchiol Butter between your fingertips. Massage into your skin in slow, upward motions. This allows the richness of the butter to seal in the herbal moisture.
Why This Works:
Chamomile supports sensitive, irritated, or inflamed skin with its soothing compounds. Paired with a barrier-loving, waterless balm, this ritual helps skin stay soft, balanced, and deeply nourished.
A simple tea becomes medicine. A butter becomes a vessel for ritual. This is how we return to ourselves, one moment at a time.
